Allyship and Reconciliation Strategy

Environmental consulting and reconciliation are inextricably linked: ultimately, colonization is about access to, and control of, land and natural resources. Many of the projects we work on here in B.C. are often directly adjacent to Indigenous communities and located on unceded lands, which means they were never sold or surrendered.

We are currently in the process of developing Allyship and Reconciliation Strategy, with guidance and input from Indigenous partners, through which we hope to:

  • embed a lens of reconciliation into the way we work and behave, both at the individual level and within our company culture

  • educate and support our clients on their respective journeys of reconciliation

  • exercise our influence to amplify and uplift Indigenous voices

  • be active allies that lead by example and make time to consider how we approach our work as it relates to Indigenous peoples in Canada

  • stay accountable to the commitments we make.
