Metro Vancouver is seeking to replace the existing Iona Wastewater Treatment plant with a new plant that will provide tertiary-level treatment, meet the latest seismic standards, account for future sea level rise and incorporate cutting-edge technologies for resource and energy recovery, greenhouse gas reductions, odour reduction and energy efficiency. Bluedot is supporting the Metro Vancouver/Advisian technical team to strategize and lead the project’s numerous foreshore restoration projects in the Fraser River estuary across a variety of ecosystem components.
